‘B’Haram plans to attack 50 towns in Borno’

A delegate at the National Conference, Ibrahim Bunu, verbally expressed on Wednesday that he had information that members of the dreaded Boko Haram were orchestrating to assail over 50 towns and villages in Borno State.

Bunu, who was a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, verbalized this while verbalizing at the plenary of the conference.

He verbally expressed he had information that the members of the sect were earnest about the orchestrated attack.

Bunu verbalized he got the information though a telephone call and that there was the desideratum to beef up security in Borno State in particular and the country holistically.

“Mr. Chairman, this is the information I have to give the conference,” he integrated.

In his contribution, another delegate, Edwin Clark, asked the management of the conference to set a date aside to enable the delegates to discuss the issue of the Boko Haram sect at the executive session.

Clark, a former minister of information, verbally expressed that when the issue would be discussed, it would be more preponderant to do with input of all the members.

After he verbalized, the management of the conference, led by its Chairman, Justice Idris Kutigi (retd), verbalized that the matter would be discussed at a closed door session on Thursday.

It was additionally verbalized that journalists would not be sanctioned to cover the session.

However, another delegate, Mr. Saidu Dansadau, verbalized the issues raised by Bunu were too sensitive to be left till another day.
