Obanikoro denies carrying Ekiti ballot papers to Akure

The Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has gainsaid a claim by the incipient National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, that he had taken ballot materials to Akure ahead of the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti State.
Obanikoro, who described the allegation as reckless, verbally expressed he did not owe the the APC any explication to kinetically circumnavigate in the country.
He additionally incriminated the APC leadership of playing politics with everything in the country.
The minister verbalized at the commencement of the Barracks Health Committee and the Armed Forces Programme on AIDS Control in Abuja on Thursday.
The programme is a joint effort of the Ministry of Defence and the United States Department of Defense in the fight against the spread of the dreaded disease.
Obanikoro integrated that the verbalization only showed that the opposition party was taking politics too far.
He stressed that he was never in charge of electoral materials as a minister of state for Defence.
Obanikoro verbally expressed, “I’m the Minister of State for Defence; I’m not in charge of electoral matters for goodness sake. Sometimes, I cerebrate we take our politics too far for anybody to make such a reckless allegation against my person; I cerebrate it is politics carried too far”
“As you can visually perceive, I am here today performing my official responsibility. If I have anything to do outside Abuja, I don’t need the sanction of APC to kinetically circumnavigate the country.”
