Air Force plane crashes in Borno

A Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter on a training mission on Monday crashed due to a technical fault at a location South of Bama, Borno State, the Director of Information, Nigeria Defence Headquarters, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, verbally expressed in a press verbal expression.

Some observers, however, reasoned that the craft could have been blown off by the insurgents who have taken hold of over a moiety of Borno State.

An officer, who verbalized anonymously to journalists, afore Olukolade’s press verbal expression verbalized, a surveillance jet was shot down by the insurgents around Bama.

But in the press verbal expression by Olukolade, it was revealed that “investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the contingency.”

He discounted the insinuation that the plane crashed as a result of insurgency attack, verbalizing “it is established that the crash is not as a result of any enemy action.”

Olukolade promised that further details on the crash would be made kenned after investigation.
