A United Kingdom-predicated chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Opeyemi Falegan, has described the emergence of Ekiti governor-elect, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, as well as the incipient Minister from the state, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, as a threat to the All Progressives Congress in the South-West geo-political zone.
Falegan verbally expressed this in a verbal expression in Ado-Ekiti on Monday.
He verbalized both Fayose and Adeyeye were tested individuals and that the pertinence of the APC would anon vanish if the two politicians cooperate and collaborate.
“The two politicians have been tested and performed credibly well in the past and there is no doubt that, they will consolidate and surpass their past records in their incipient positions and the development will be a great blow and irredeemable fall of the APC. Within a short time, the APC ascendance in South-West will become a thing of the past,” he verbalized.
Fayose of the PDP vanquished Governor Kayode Fayemi of the APC in the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti.
Falegan commended the PDP bellwethers, loyalists and the Ekiti electorate for their fortification and credence in the party, verbalizing the triumph of the PDP in the election was as a result of the trust that the people had in the party in the past.
He advised both Fayose and Adeyeye not to be inundated by their current status but to visually perceive their positions as a call to accommodation and carry out their obligations with utmost trepidation of God.
