FIFA threatens to suspend Nigeria over Maigari


FIFA has threatened to suspend Nigeria over a Jos, Plateau State court ruling, declaring as illicit the election of Aminu Maigari as the President of the Nigeria Football Federation.

FIFA verbalized it would suspend Nigeria from all football competitions if the decision was not inverted by July 8.

FIFA verbally expresses Jos court order and Sports Minister’s directive contravene its statutes, and so may suspend Nigeria if the Maigari-led NFF board was not reinstated by July 8.
