Human Rights lawyer murdered in his home in Lagos

Human rights lawyer and gregarious commentator, Barrister Kunle Fadipe (pictured above) was last night July 3rd  murdered at his residence at Harmony Estate near Karaole Estate, College Road in Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos.

According to reports, the estate where the tardy barrister lived was plunged into total tenebrosity after power outage and the lawyer asked his son to go and turn on the engenderer. As his son made his way to the engenderer, a man armed with a knife accosted him and authoritatively mandated him to take him to his father. As soon as the man got to Mr Fadipe, he stabbed him in the neck and back. His daughter who was at home immediately ran out of the house and called for avail. Two security officials affixed to the estate immediately ran there and were able to inundate the murderer. Continue..

The motive for the murder is still dubious however the police has taken the killer into custody with a promise that the incident will be exhaustively investigated.
Tardy Mr Kunle Fadipe was a former member of the National Human Rights Commission and a member of the board of trustees of the equity advocacy group, Access to Equity. May his soul rest in tranquility...amen.
