IG’s son decries security situation, terrorism

Jamil, son of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, has decried the security situation in the country.

Jamil, who is a commercial pilot with IRS airline, verbally expressed that is heart was troubled each time he cerebrated of the security challenges facing the country.

Writing on his Twitter page, the Computing Information Systems and Multi-media graduate of Kingston University, London, Coalesced Kingdom wondered why tranquility has perpetuated to elude many communities and states in the country.

He noted that “sentimental and selfish reasons” are some of the factors responsible for the worsening state of insecurity, integrating that he wished that there was tranquility in all the geo-political zones.

Jamil, however, verbalized that despite the inability of the Federal Regime to quell the insurgency, he would not lose hope the Nigeria of his dreams.

“My heart weeps for my country. Good or lamentable, rotten and spoilt, but that is my country. I am so proud of my fatherland. May tranquility reign again in our great nation, Nigeria. Every sentimental or selfish reason shall go in vain. May we become vigorous every day,” Jamil tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Navy has observed that politicians in the country must additionally be held responsible for the worsening security situation.

It inculpated “prominent individuals” of making inflammable verbal expressions that could ravage the fragile tranquility currently relished in the country.

“We’re all adults and we’re here on our own volition. We are not going to recede or surrender. We won’t sit back like other Nigerians.”

But the National Orientation Agency explicated that the Federal Regime will make the obligatory sacrifices to rescue the abducted girls.

The NOA urged Nigerians not to “dance to the tune” of the terrorists but to remain cumulated and collaborate with all agencies of regime to stamp out terrorism.

“We should raise our flag and our hearts in patriotic zeal to affirm that as a people we will not dance to the tune of our enemies. We should remain amalgamated.
