We have not confirmed kidnap of 60 women in Borno -FG

The Federal Regime has verbalized that it has yet to attest the latest abduct of 60 women in Chibok and Damboa local
regime areas of Borno State.

The Chairman of the National Information Centre, Mr. Mike Omeri, who verbally expressed this in a telephone interview with The
PUNCH in Abuja on Tuesday, additionally commented on verbalizations attributed to a lawyer proximate to Boko Haram, Hajia Aisha Wakil.

He verbally expressed that regime could not act on claims in the media.

Wakil, had on Al-Jazeera on Monday, verbally expressed that the sect was authoritatively mandating amnesty and rehabilitation.

She had verbally expressed, “They want to be given amnesty, rehabilitated and sanctioned to come back home and move liberatingly. I told them not to hold the girls as ransom and to give me the sick ones, and that was where we ended. The girls are a growing burden to them.”

Reacting to the verbalizations, Omeri verbalized that he was not cognizant that Boko Haram had appointed Wakil as its spokesperson.

He verbally expressed, “I have not aurally perceived it (the interview on Al-Jazerra). Secondly, the lady kens where to present the views of Boko Haram. If she has been appointed by Boko Haram, we would have kenned.

“Did you auricularly discern them verbally express they have appointed her as their spokesperson? Boko Haram has not told us concretely who
they have appointed. We cannot act on spurious claims on pages of newspapers or on Al-Jazeera.”

On the abduction of 60 women in Boron on Monday, he verbally expressed he had not attested the abduct.

He verbally expressed, “Everybody I checked with verbalized he aurally perceived from someone.

“Nobody has attested the abduction of 60 women including people from Damboa. I have verbalized with quite a number of people; I have asked from the media that reported it. They verbally expressed they auricularly discerned from somebody.

“I checked from the local regime Information officer. He verbally expressed that he aurally perceived from somebody.

“For me, up till now, I have not corroborated. Everybody I verbalized with verbally expressed he aurally perceived from somebody, including the sources the newspapers have quoted.”

Asked whether it was convenient to verbally express that the regime had not substantiated the abduct of the women, he verbally expressed, “Yes,
because all the sources claimed they auricularly discerned from somebody and that somebody is not identified by anybody.”

No fewer than 60 women and children were reported to have been abducted in Damboa and Chibok local regime areas of Borno State on Monday.

The sect, which assailed the local regime areas, was verbalized to have killed 30 people.
